Description
Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Little Goldstar', een zonnehoed, is een compacte vorm van de bekende en veel toegepaste Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm'. De hoogte van Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Little Goldstar' bedraagt slechts 35 tot 40 cm. Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm' kan ruim een meter hoog worden. De compacte groei van Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Little Goldstar' maakt deze vaste plant ook geschikt voor het gebruik in plantenbakken. Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Little Goldstar' bloeit net zo rijk als 'Goldsturm' in de periode augustus-oktober. Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Little Goldstar' staat graag op een zonnige plek in de border en kan op bijna iedere tuingrond aangeplant worden.
